St John the Baptist Fishpond

This small church was built in 1854 and is situated slighly down in the valley on the west side of the ancient hillfort of Coney's Castle. From the church are wonderful views down the valley to Charmouth and the sea. It is at the centre of the small Fispond community, and is a place where one can come for quiet reflection. It has a beauiful stained glass window by Arthur E Buss, dated 1967.
